@Pinga The manifestation I experienced was one of rapid iteration between calculation and reframing, without finding a foothold. If I can't find a frame, then it's a sign to zoom out. And, well, for some problems you only have so far to zoom before hitting outer limits.

@Pinga Hitting outer limits seems like a trigger to reframe at the zoomed-out level of abstraction. Sometimes games are unwinnable (at least according to the current frame), so it's time to do a more drastic reframing at a higher level.
