      @DavidRoweWTL So there's probably a school of thought that a Wardley Map ought to be self-evident. I think that can happen with a particular map over time... like, if the map is worked on so much that it becomes "clear." e.g., you can read the cup of tea example, right? @swardley/1326500328523567107

    @DavidRoweWTL but in my school of thought I only teach people to make maps that make sense to each other, in order to enable them to actually do the "negotiating shared understanding" work.

      @DavidRoweWTL if you picked up a spreadsheet made by some analyst somewhere and didn't understand it right away... like that wouldn't be the analyst's fault, or the spreadsheet's fault. it's a spreadsheet for the analyst. not designed with you in mind. same goes here.
