@DAtD_life struggled with this one, because there's so much to unpack. I think the big takeaways for me were: 1) "status quo" and "progress" might be better thought of as compositions of the system — system A vs system B.

@DAtD_life 2) old paradigms for coordination, discourse, communication, discovery were based on a "status quo" of physical place... which means new paradigms emerging around digital place (e.g. social media) deserve open eyes. We need to be aware of what was before, but not be bound by it.
